Of the 82 cities which calculates the CPI, there were 46 cities experienced inflation and 36 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in the city of Merauke by 1.33 per cent followed by Tanjung Pandan amounted to 1.20 percent. While the lowest inflation occurred in the city of Jakarta by 0.01 percent followed by 0.02 percent Bima City. The biggest deflation occurred in Kota Sibolga by 1.85 percent and the smallest in Bandung by 0.01 percent. For West Nusa Tenggara, Mataram City experienced inflation of 0.55 percent and Bima City experienced inflation of 0.02 percent.
West Nusa Tenggara inflation in September 2015 amounted to 0.44 percent occurred because of the increase in the index of Clothing Group amounted to 1.48 percent; Group Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuels by 0.81 percent; Health group of 0.54 percent; Group Transport, Communications & Financial Services by 0.54 percent; The group Education, Recreation and Sports of 0.25 percent and a group of Food, Beverages, Cigarettes & Tobacco by 0.16 percent. While the decline in the index occurred in the group of Food by 0.02 percent.
West Nusa Tenggara inflation rate of calendar year (September 2015 - December 2014) amounted to 2.00 percent, and the rate of inflation "year to year" (September 2015 - September 2014) amounted to 5.42 percent.
