The ROR for star hotels in August 2019 was 52.12 percent

Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in August 2019 increased compared to July 2019 by 8.27 points. The ROR for August 2019 reached 52.12 percent, while the ROR for star hotels in July 2019 was only 43.85 percent. When compared to the ROR for star hotels in August 2018, it was only 28.18 percent, meaning a decrease of 23.94 points.
The average length of stay (RLM) of star hotel guests in August 2019 was 1.99 days. This decreased by 0.16 days compared to the RLM in July 2019 of 2.15 days.
The number of guests staying at star hotels in August 2019 was recorded at 67,561 people consisting of 41,519 domestic guests (61.45%) and 26,042 foreign guests (38.55%).
The ROR for non-star hotels in August 2019 was 25.66 percent, a decrease of 2.05 points compared to July 2019 with the ROR of 27.71 percent. When compared to August 2018 it increased by 9.18 points from 16.48 percent.
The average length of stay (RLM) of guests at Non Bintang Hotels in August 2019 was 1.62 days, a decrease of 0.17 days compared to the RLM in July 2019 of 1.79 days.
