Abstract

The export value of West Nusa Tenggara Province in August 2019 was only US $ 3,583,082, a decrease of 87.59 percent when compared to exports in July 2019 which were valued at US $ 28,872,069. The decline in exports was due to the absence of exports of Mining and Non-Oil and Gas Mining Goods.
The largest exports in August 2019 were directed to the United States at 46.27 percent, followed by Australia at 40.13 percent, and China at 7.53 percent.
The largest types of goods exported by NTB Province in August 2019 were Jewelry / gems valued at US $ 1,540,251 (42.99 percent), Fish and Shrimp US $ 1,432,115 (39.97 percent), Salt, Sulfur, Limestone of 213,642 US $ (5.96 percent), Processed Meat and Fish US $ 134,057 (3.74 percent), and Coffee, Tea and Spices US $ 88,206 (2.46 percent).
The value of imports in August 2019 was valued at US $ 8,960,531. This means that imports decreased by 63.20 percent compared to imports in July 2019 of US $ 24,351,587. Most of the imports came from the United States (26.59 percent), Japan (18.47 percent), Malaysia (16.59 percent), and Singapore (12.14 percent).
The types of imported goods with the largest value are Machinery / Mechanical Aircraft (41.18 percent), Rubber and Rubber Goods (19.01 percent), and Mineral Fuels (16.86 percent).
