Population Projections for Dompu Regency West Nusa Tenggara Province 2020-2035 SP2020 Results of the 2020 Population Census

The government has established the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2005–2025 and the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020–2024, and is preparing RPJPN 2025–2045 and RPJMN 2025–2029. In line with the national development planning document, the local government of West Nusa Tenggara Province has also established the Regional Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) 2005-2025, and is preparing the Regional Development Plan (RPD) 2024-2026. The planning document is a guide for the government in carrying out development. Development plans must be supplemented with the latest population data and information and forecasts in the future as a basis for evaluating ongoing development and determining future development policies. In addition to population, information on demographic parameters such as population age structure, birth rate, mortality rate, and life expectancy at birth is very supportive for accurate development planning. These information can be calculated through population projections.
